SETTING UP
Water: Choose the right ratio of coffee to water based on how many cups of coffee you would like to make.
Grind: Use a medium-coarse grind, roughly the size of dark brown sugar.
Coffee to Water Ratio:
Grams: 1 gram of coffee for every 16 grams of water (1:16)
Tbsp/Oz: 1 tbsp of coffee for every 3 oz. of water (1:3)
BREWING STEPS
1. Boil water to approximately 195-205 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. While water is boiling, if using a paper filter, wet filter to avoid paper taste. Place filter in dripper.
3. Add coffee to filter, making sure coffee is level.
4. Gently saturate grounds with hot water, pouring in a circular motion in the center of the coffee bed and allowing the coffee to "bloom" or de-gas. *Add only enough water to saturate the grounds and wait 30 seconds.
5. Slowly pour remaining water over the coffee in a circular motion. Serve & enjoy!
